Happy Holidays + Holiday Hang Ups

Hi and welcome back. Today I'm taking over the SumMore Fun Blog with a Christmas  card featuring the Raisin Boat  Holiday Hang Ups Stamp Set. I love retro ornaments, so I had to have this set, so beautiful!  I used the Distress Oxide Inks to coordinate with the current Mood Board.

I'm going to share a little secret with ya. You have to try this cardstock, it's amazing.
It comes in 15 different colors, #100, sturdy cardstock, loving it.

To create this look I used a stamp position tool, stamping the ornaments in Peacock Feathers, Candied Apple Red, Fossilized Amber and the branch with Peeled Paint. Using Gold ink stamp sparkles randomly. Added fun foam to the white cardstock panel and layered on Raisin Boat My Colors Cardstock - Roasted Red Pepper. Finished off with a few glitter enamel dots on stamped sparkles.

  • Cut a piece of gold foil paper to go behind stamped paper and adhere( I purchase large pieces at HL near the framing dept. and cut it down)
  • Starting with 5" x 5" top fold cardbase, adhere stamped Strathmore paper to cardbase
  • Using 3D moutning foam adhere die-cut banner left center of oval
  • I use my mini scoreboard and emboss stylus to create the border around the stamped paper

You're Out Of This World!

Hi, everyone and welcome. Today I'm over on the Victorine Originals Blog to showcase a few Victorine Originals Stamps. I have to tell y'all I'm in love with the Saturn and Aliens In Spaceship stamps. I love the very whimsical feel and they're not too big making them a perfect pair along with the sentiment, You're Out Of This World

Next time I'll add a little color to the images but for now, I wanted them as is.

To create this card I used a stamping tool, any stamping tool will work, Tim Holtz, Misti, Stampoholic, you decide! I DO NOT have a preference, in fact, I own several different ones.

Okay, so position your stamps on your stamping tool and stamp them using Memento Ink Espresso Truffle, using the star stencil, distress oxides, and daubers randomly add stars around your stamped images. Finish off with enamel dots. Layer patterned paper onto cardstock, add fun foam to the back of stamped panel and layer onto patterned paper.

As always, thanks for joining us here at the Victorine Originals Blog.

Be sure to link up your projects for the ongoing challenge

I received the stamps from Victorine Originals for Design Team inspiration.
