ABOUT ME:

I'm married to a fantastic guy, Aaron for nearly twenty years. Since his retirement from the Army in 2009, we have learned a lot about each other! I thought eight deployments and seven out of tens apart was tough, I was wrong. Transitioning to civilian life after serving the Army for twenty years is the hardest thing, but we made it. I have to say it made us better people and made our marriage stronger.

We both love Disney World, and that is our annual vacation spot. We vacation on a budget, trust me. Plus we are retired military, so we are very privileged to stay at Shades of Green and purchase our tickets through MWR at a discounted rate.

I'm a stamper, blogger, cake decorator, and now becoming a YouTuber. I've been making handmade cards since 2009. It truly is therapeutic, and it does keep us both safe! LOL
