Christmas in July with Simply Create Too Challenge #88

So, here we are more than half through the year! WOWzer!
Love it! I can't wait for the holidays, all of them.
How about you? Well, either way this challenge will
be great for giving you a head start on Christmas projects.
I created a card using an image by Bugaboo, I love Bugaboo.
I mean the name alone is enough to make me happy!
I actually had this image colored from last year and figured why not?

Do you color images in advance and store them? How do you store them?
I'm just curious. I have plastic recipe boxes, I picked up at Walmart. I use
inserts to organize into Everyday, Holiday, Sentiments and so on.
Some times you need a card quick and it's a great way to have images ready.

Now it's your turn to show us your
Challenge #88!

No Digis or Stamped Images with Simply Create Too Challenge #83

WHAT? That's what I said when I say "no digis or stamped images"!
I think some times we become "craft comfortable". So even though
I was thrown for a few minutes with this challenge it didn't take long
for the wheels to start turning! That is one dangerous thing, too. I created
a card using a die cut, photo paper, COPICS, enamel dots, and white cardstock.

Super easy card with a very colorful punch!

PHOTO PAPER AND DIE CUTS
I created the green laugh using Alcohol Ink and Blending Solution
on HP Advanced Photo Paper!
The yellow, orange and red using COPICS.
(pictured above)
Yes, PHOTO PAPER. When I purchase ink for my printer
I always get a free pack of photo paper with the ink.
Needless to say I have photo paper piling up!
It has a very glossy finish and substitutes perfectly for
die cut words and glossy accents!

Okay, so hopefully I inspired you to step out of
your "crafty comfort zone" and try something different.
I can't wait to see what your projects. So, get busy and

Anything Goes with Simply Create Too Challenge #79

It's time for new challenge over at
is challenge!

I took this opportunity to create a card
that was a request. I had a lot fun making
it because it allowed me to play with my
Cameo!

I was very pleased with the end result of this
90th Birthday card and matching envelope.
The print and cut feature on the Cameo is
absolutely amazing! It really opens up so many doors.

I hope you join us for

Snow,Snow,Snow at Simply Create Too Challenge Blog

Has it snowed where you are? As of this
post it hasn't snowed in my neck of the woods!
Which makes me sad! Because I love snow!
So I was really excited to come up with
some inspiration for this challenge!
Well, I hope it inspires you.

I made two cards for this challenge.
The first one is a 1 on the easy scale.
Layer cardstock, emboss silver foil
paper, add pearls and sentiment.
Quick and easy but I feel packs a
punch!

The second card is using only white! It's a 2 on the easy scale.
I say a two only because there's a lot of die cutting, punching, glittering,
and pop dotting!
(If that's even a word)
So just emboss the base card stock, die cut fence using
Cottage Cutz Mini Fence, I used the grass upside down
for icicles and added glitter. I hand punched the trees
with Fiskars Punch and used glitter on a few on them.
Used Fiskars Wavy Paper Edger to create a landscape.
Finished off with Queen & Co.Pearls

So now it's your turn to show us your take
on Snow,Snow,Snow!

Give Thanks at Simply Create Too Challenge Blog

Challenge #74 ~ Give Thanks/Thank You

This week over at Simply Create Too
I created two cards for this challenge.
My first card is very CAS using Lawn Fawns
So Thankful Stamp Set colored with copics and
patterned with gel pen.
I'm really loving the pumpkins and I understand
their not everyone's slice of pie. And that's
okay. That's what makes this world great!
 I'm entering this card into:
http://lawnscaping.blogspot.com/2014/11/lawnscaping-challenge-fall-pumpkins.html

So moving onto my second card I used Spellbinders
Labels One cut three different sizes from
October Afternoon Apple Cider
and The Paper Studio Cream Cardstock, folded the largest
size in half for card base, then layered the other two,
stamped with Memento Ink, and added Queen & Co. Pearls.
 Inside
Now it's your turn! Hop on over to
and show us how you Give Thanks!
And while you're there shower the
Design Team with some crafty love!
