Sending Get Well Wishes

Hi, everyone! Today I'm over on the CDD Blog bringing you the Daily post featuring Wishful Thoughts Stamps and Flowers In Bloom Stamps. I decided that I wanted to create a Get Well card and thought this was the perfect time to use these beautiful Orchids.

I've been using my SVG Outlines a lot lately to build shaker cards, and I decided to run with that technique once again. I have to say I'm kind of loving the end result. This method is so easy, once your SVG Outlines merged into your designer software, size it accordingly. I change the size of my mat to 4.25in. X 5.5in., the same size as my card base. By doing this, you can determine exactly where you want your cutout. I usually center mine so that I can use a die-cut like the Fancy Frame Dies. You will be surprised how quickly this card comes together.

A Simple Hello

Hi, everyone! Today I'm over on the SVG Attic Blog sharing an excellent way to say HELLO and brighten someone's January Day.  I'm using two files from the JGW Love Letters Collection to create a card and small treat box.

As I was cutting and assembling, picking the papers I thought would work best, I fell in love with the card. I mean there is nothing you can't use this cute card for! And the back of it is super cute, too! As you can see, I created a shaker by using a project life pouch and adding a few seed beads along with cut out envelopes from my scrap paper.

You could add 3D mounting foam and add some candy for any holiday. I will be making this for Valentine's Day. Oh snap, as I sit here, you could use the project life pouch and add a Ghirardelli Chocolate Square. I tell ya, I'm in love with this card.

As always, thanks for joining us!

Shake, Shake, Shake Baby!

Hi and welcome, everyone! Today I'm up on the Craftin Desert Divas blog bringing you the daily post. Since shakers are on trend now, I thought I would make a few using some of the new products available in the CDD Shop. While I was creating this card, I was thinking 1st Birthday, but this can easily be used for numerous occasions.

I created the shaker by using a fusing tool, but you can easily create this look using the Crazy Stitch Frame Dies and foam tape. You can put the onesie die-cut inside or outside the shaker, die-cut two layers using the Fancy Frame Dies, die-cut white cardstock using the smallest scalloped Fancy Frame Die and insert into the pocket, add onesie and sequins, fuse pocket closed, layer all onto white card base, die-cut banner using kraft cardstock and Mix It Up Dies, stamp sentiment using black ink and Bitty Blessings sentiment.
Tip: When making shaker cards use a strong adhesive, like Scor-Tape.
