Sending Get Well Wishes

Hi, everyone! Today I'm over on the CDD Blog bringing you the Daily post featuring Wishful Thoughts Stamps and Flowers In Bloom Stamps. I decided that I wanted to create a Get Well card and thought this was the perfect time to use these beautiful Orchids. 

I've been using my SVG Outlines a lot lately to build shaker cards, and I decided to run with that technique once again. I have to say I'm kind of loving the end result. This method is so easy, once your SVG Outlines merged into your designer software, size it accordingly. I change the size of my mat to 4.25in. X 5.5in., the same size as my card base. By doing this, you can determine exactly where you want your cutout. I usually center mine so that I can use a die-cut like the Fancy Frame Dies. You will be surprised how quickly this card comes together.

BIG Birthday Wishes with Craftin Desert Divas

Hi and welcome, everyone! Today I'm over on the Craftin Desert Divas Blog bringing you the Daily Post. Sometimes I just want some color and a BIG sentiment. So I created this card with a watercolored background, BIG Die-Cut, and a few sentiments. Don't be scared to mix n match those sentiments. 

Another great thing about a card like this, great guy card!

Happy Mother's Day with Craftin Desert Divas

Hello and welcome, everyone!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! 

I hope you all are having a fantastic day.

Today I'm up on the Craftin Desert Divas Blog with the Daily Post. I created a card that could be used not only for Mother's Day but anytime you want to tell someone how awesome they are. 

Here's what I created.

To create this card I chose my patterned paper, stamp and sentiment then decided on the die-cuts, inks, and embossing powder.  There is no rhyme to my reason; that's for sure! I stamped the largest rose image from Flowers In Bloom Stamp Set with watermark ink onto watercolor paper and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. Watercolored the rose and added a touch of gold ink to the leaves. Using the Fancy Stitched Label Dies, I die-cut the image and sentiment. Adding a die-cut layer using the Picture Frame Die onto the card base.
