Last Minute Gifts

Hi, and welcome, everyone. I'm over on the SVG Attic Blog today.

 Well, here we are two days before Christmas, and without fail, the last minute gift happens. Don't worry, it happens to the best of us. You get a call from a relative and so-so is bringing their better half to your house, Christmas Eve. Do you say "Oh, Well, better luck next year" or fight the crowds to find a quick gift? Personally, I run for the stash of gift cards I keep, grab one, break out the Silhouette Cameo and make one of these adorable, easy gift card holders from the JGW Ho Ho Holiday Collection at SVG Attic. Seriously, they think you put a lot of effort into it. They leave the house saying "Oh my gosh, that was so sweet of her to give me a gift card and she made the holder!" And I secretly high-five myself for being crafty and pulling off another last minute gift. 

The "present" gift card holder can be used for Birthdays, Weddings, New Baby, and so much more. 

You can always change the papers and use the candy gift card holder for boys or girls birthdays. 

I always say use your SVG files for any and everything! 

I used 12 x 12 paper in white and kraft along with patterned paper from DCWV Merry Memories Stack.

Happy Birthday! with Craftin Desert Divas

Hi and welcome, everyone! Today I'm sharing a Birthday card I made using the Craftin Desert Divas Party Die Set. 

This die set is one to have in your arsenal, you can do so much with it.

So to create this fun card I used Sugar Shoppe 6 x 6 Paper Pad, Fancy Frame Dies,  Love Matte Assortment Sprinkles, white cardstock, black cardstock, and Party Dies.

I worked with three patterns die-cutting 5 balloons, 3 candles, and 1 present layering them

on white cardstock with 3D Foams.  To finish it off I tucked a few sprinkles around the balloons.
