Welcome to the SVG Attic-3 Girl JAM Back to School blog hop! We are so excited to have you join us today!
At each stop of the hop we hope you will be inspired by the
creativity of the design teams of SVG Attic and 3 Girl JAM. You are sure to
find many wonderful projects that will be at the top of your crafting lists!
You should be arriving from Scrappy Scrappy blog. If you happened
across this post out of order, please head to the SVG Attic blog to
start at the beginning of the hop.
Here is the projects I created:
"You Are The Key To My Success!"
Teacher's play such a big roll in children's lives. I feel like the sentiment is perfect for this project.
My first project is made using SVG Attic's Back To School Text Book Gift Card and 3 Girl JAM Summer Harvest Bundle: Raspberry & Blueberry
Crinkle Ribbon. I used my Cameo and Graphic 45 Place In Time Collection 12x12 Paper Pad(September) to cut the Text Book, assembled using Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive, fussy cut the two tags and used my Silhouette Sketch Pens to add the sentiments, add a brad to hold them together. Tying a skeleton key to the crinkle ribbon and adhering to the box with clear adhesive dot.
"You're Just Write"
I've had this idea rolling around in my head since the first talk of the blog hop. I know when I was in school extra pencils were always in demand. So instead of a present to just the teacher why not one to the whole classroom. And I think the sentiment is so cute. To create this pot full of pencils I used SVG Attic's Gaby's Garden Terracotta Pot, SVG Attic's Back To School Apple and 3 Girl JAM Sunny Meadow Bundle: Clover and Sunshine Crinkle Ribbon. I cut the pot and apples out using my Cameo and Silhouette Sketch Pens to add the sentiment. Yes, I love my sketch pens. The paper is Jillibean Soup Spotted Owl Collection - 2 Cups of Confetti 12x12 Paper. The pencils are from the Dollar store along with the shredded yellow crinkle paper.
