Ribbon,Lace and Pearls with Dream Valley Challenge #103

It's all about Ribbon/Lace and Pearls this week
at

I have to tell you I'm not a Lace and Pearl girl! At least, I didn't think so.
However, once I started adding layers to this card, I couldn't stop. This adorable digital image is by All Dressed Up, Abi Ballerina! She really made it so easy to dress up the card. I had so much fun with this. I'm looking forward to my next "girlie" card.

Try Something New with Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #4

This week over at
it's all about trying something
(new technique, fold, item, style)

I decided to try a new fold. I always find myself
doing the same ol' basic fold. And I'm glad I decided to
try this new fold, it's easy peasy! I realized
I really need to start breaking out of my comfort zone.
I also got creative with my embellishments.
I have to say I'm really liking the look of this
card! I hope you enjoy it, too.

So here's the card I made using
an Upright Z Fold!

I used a Bugaboo Digital Image,
Valentine Jar colored with COPICS, layered with
PTI Simple Valentine DP and finished off
with Queen & Co. Pearls.

We are very fortunate to have
two great sponsors this week:

 Bugaboo Stamps
7 Digital Images

 and

Try something new and share it with us!
I can't wait to see what you create

17 Days Til Christmas and Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #85

I can't believe we have 17 days until Christmas!
Who else is excited but sad at the same time?
I adore Christmas and everything it represents
but I must confess that I do get a little blue
afterwards. Okay, enough chatter.
It's Monday and you know what that means....
at

It's a great one, too!

I made another Christmas card using The Greeting Farm
Clear Stamp Set Christmas, Queen and Co. Pearls, DCWV
Candy Cane Lane Stack, colored the stars with COPIC R29, inked
the edges of my die cut with Tim Holtz Antique Linen,
and stamped sentiment from Recollection Stamp Set.

Now it's your turn to show us your take
on this sketch! Be sure to spread some
Holiday Love to the wonderful ladies
