Color Challenge with Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #24

I also discovered a new technique while making this card.
I have a transparency from Teresa Collins Freestyle Collection.


 I had a 5x5 piece cut and had every intention of using on my card.
It wasn't working for me, so I grabbed my distress inks in Barn Red and Faded Jeans
swiped them directly across the transparency, flipped it over onto my card stock and pressed with my hand. I was so surprised to see the stars. They are raised just enough to 
leave a pretty nice impression. I said, well, that's it! I did heat emboss the bigger stars and dabbed some Picket Fence distress paint around the edges. Fun, give it a try! Feel free to email me if you have any questions.

White Embossing Powder
Star Stamps ~ any brand will work

    cool technique using that transparency
    love the effect and your card really patriotic
    I am not good to make card with star cause I came from Indonesia and our flag only red and white no star LOL
