Showered With Love with Craftin Desert Divas

Welcome CDD Fans! Today I'm over on the Craftin Desert Diva's Blog sharing a fun Valentine's Day Card with a twist.   This cutie patootie elephant from the mini Tons Stamp Set is perfect for showering hearts on someone special.

White floral wire is very light and can be easily manipulated.

I used the Fancy Frame Dies to create the layers of pinks and kraft. Those Fancy Frame Dies are a must have, I tell ya! I used the new Heart of Heart Die, Pretty in Pink sequins and thin floral wire to create the shower from his trunk. I stamped the sentiment from Simply Said Stamp Set and die-cut with a stitched oval from the new Fancy Stitched Label Dies.

Craftin Desert Divas January Release Blog Hop

Here's what I've created for you...

I used Picked Raspberry Distress Ink to create the water-colored background, using CDD Heart of Heart die centered and cut, layered onto white cardstock, stamped sentiment using CDD Simply Said Stamp Set and finished off with bling.

I stamped this cutie patootie from the CDD Sweet Wishes Stamp Set and colored with COPICS, fussy cut, layered onto cardstock cut with CDD Fancy Stitched Label Dies and Fancy Frame Dies, stamped sentiment from the CDD Sweet Wishes Stamp Set and layered onto white cardstock. 

I stamped this little guy and colored with COPICS, fussy cut, die cut vellum and DP using CDD Fancy Frame Dies, stamped sentiment onto vellum and heat embossed with AC Zing Gold Metallic Embossing Powder, layered onto white cardstock and finished off with gold bling.
