Okay, so I decided to have a day of whatever! I just felt like my brain was so clogged with
DT projects, brainstorming a few cakes I have this month and just life that I needed a serious
mindless day. So I headed over to Craftsy and joined a class. I know what you're thinking.....that's mindless? And yes, for me it is. I can watch and learn. I don't have to worry about a design, I get to have them show me what to do. I made a few cards while watching the videos from the FREE
Create Stunning Birthday Cards Class. Very fun, informative classes that are not too long. I've never made a Penny Slider card, gasp, and being able to have someone just walk me through it, awesome sauce!
So here's the Penny Slider I created. Fun technique.
This is a really neat idea for gift cards.
You learn how to make four different cards. Best part, it was FREE!

This looks like a super fun class! I'll have to check it out. I just love the airplane card - it's adorable with its polka dotted background, and the fact that it moves is doubly cool!
